PM&J Partners with Safe Hands Rescue

PM&J  is inspired and determined to develop products that make a real difference to the lives of the pets and owners that they reach. Just as we are committed to providing services and products that make a real difference for our customers, we are equally committed to ensuring that we actively support socially responsible business practices. Our goal is pretty simple – to cause more good than harm to our environment and communities.

While our community outreach program involves several local non-profits, one of our strongest partnerships is with Safe Hands Rescue (www.safehandsrescue.org). Safe Hands Recue is a registered 501c non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. Their mission is to reduce the stray population and need for healthy animal euthanasia through spay/neuter programs, education, and promotion of respect for the furry creatures that share ourlives. Since the beginning of our partnership in 2013, we have worked together to organize and host several sample sales with 100% of all proceeds earmarked for vaccinations, medication, and transportation for rescue animals. In addition, PM&J regularly donates new products such as pet beds, crate mats, apparel, and travel crates to Safe Hands Rescue to help ensure that their rescue animals can enjoy pampered and comfortable stays while waiting to find a permanent home. In 2014 alone, over $7,000 was raised and over 2,000 various products were donated!!!

This year, we have expanded upon our partnership by featuring the Safe Hands Rescue dogs inour product photography. The lifestyle product photos will be used for various purposes, including online retailing and brand marketing. These cute “models” LOVE spending full days socializing with our team. In between shoots, we make sure to spoil them with plenty of treats and hugs! Needless to say, photography days are some of our favorite days to come to work!
